It works, but it's had less testing than the Mac version so far. Try it on your footage with the free version first, and tell us if anything's off.
Not sure which Mac you have? Apple menu → About This Mac: "Chip" means Apple silicon, "Processor" means Intel.
What you need
- Mac: macOS 12.3 or later, Apple silicon or Intel.
- Windows: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
- Editors: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro (Mac) or Avid Media Composer.
- Footage: the common camera and recorder formats (MOV, MP4, MXF, WAV and more). Everything needed to read them is built in.
Installing
Mac: open the downloaded .dmg, drag Clam Sync onto the Applications folder, then open it from Applications.
Windows: run the downloaded Setup.exe. It installs for you alone (no administrator password needed) and adds Clam Sync to the Start menu. Uninstall it any time from Settings → Apps. Prefer no installer? Get the app as a zip, unzip it somewhere permanent and open Clam Sync.exe.
